A little introduction to FJV
François-Jérôme has extensive global experience in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris and Victoria Hall, and has collaborated with renowned musicians including Grigory Sokolov and Martha Argerich on stage and in studio recordings. He has served as a piano technician for international piano competitions supported by Steinway & Sons, such as the Geneva and Horowitz Competitions, and is recognized on the official Steinway website.
After several years with French piano maker Stephen Paulello, François-Jérôme specialized in piano design and improvement, mastering 3D design software and completing engineering training. He is now engaged by manufacturers worldwide for instrument design, manufacturing process improvement, and specific projects. He has also developed and globally marketed his own software, methods, and unique tools for piano makers.
Additionally, François-Jérôme is involved in technician training, conducting presentations for associations like the PTG (USA) and SVKS (Switzerland), and occasionally teaching at the Swiss piano technician school in Arenenberg.
